Kathleen Zellner

The Illinois Supreme Court appointed Zellner to take on Larry Eyler's Death Row case in October 1990. This was Zellner's first big case. 5. Larry Eyler was convicted for the kidnapping and murder in 1984 of 16-year-old Daniel Bridges, but was suspected of having killed more than 20 teenage boys and young men in a series of murders that took place between 1982 and 1984 within the Midwestern States. Eyler always insisted it was not his fault for the one murder for which he was sentenced. Even though the victim was wounded and dismembered inside Eyler's house, Eyler claimed he only contributed to the death of the victim.
