Born on the 6th of December 1953. Kin Shriner is an American actor. Kin Shriner is most well-known for his role as Scott Baldwin on ABC's soap show General Hospital. His twin brother Wil Shriner was born to Pixie (nee Eileen McDermott) and Herb Shriner who resided in New York City. His father was a renowned TV personality. When the brothers were teenagers their parents were killed in an auto accident. The brothers then moved to Texas to live with their mother. CareerShriner was employed by Fuller Brush as a door-to-door salesman[1] before becoming an actor. He was originally cast as Scott Baldwin[2] in General Hospital, the role which he is well-known for playing, in 1977. He quit General Hospital in the fall 1980 and started playing Jeb Hampton on the NBC soap drama Texas. The role ended in 1981, but soon returned to General Hospital, where he was until 1983 before returning from 1987 to 1993. In between it was his turn on the short-lived, syndicated daily soap Rituals as the character Mike Gallagher. From 1994 to 1995, he also played the role of Dr. Brian Carey in CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful.
