Hunter McGrady, an American-sized model and a proponent of a good body image, has been called the "curviest" model to have ever been featured in an Sports Illustrated issue. She was featured in the 2017 Swimsuit Issue. Although she wasn't a winner her spot, she participated in the magazine's "Swimsuit model search'. She made her debut as a newbie on the 2018 swimsuit issue. This was part the campaign "In Her Own Words" that let her activist side to make a statement and express herself through body language that were important to her. She is currently signed with Wilhelmina Models Curve Division, Los Angeles, and New York. She has also worked with Lucky Brand, Bare Necessities and Lane Bryant. She has modelled for Melissa McCarthy's clothing line "Seven7 as well as the photo shoot for Ashley Graham's "Swimsuits for All'. She walked the runway for New York Fashion Week in September 2017. She is interested in creating her own cosmetics and clothing line in the near future.
