Sheryl Crow

 Sheryl Crow began her career recording jingles to advertise clients. She then became a backup singer for Michael Jackson and Rod Stewart. With her debut album Tuesday Night Music Club in 1993, she made it big. Sheryl Suzanne Crow was born in Kennett Missouri to Wendell Crow and Bernice Crow. She has two older sisters, Kathy and Karen, and a younger brother named Steve.Crow, who began playing piano at age 6, graduated from Kennett High School in 1980 and the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1984, where she earned a degree in music education. Crow spent weekends performing with Cashmere throughout college. She later worked at the elementary school of St. Louis as a music teacher before making the move to Los Angeles, California in 1986. She began recording jingles to promote advertising clients, such as McDonald's, and worked as the backup singer. She sang on Michael Jackson's Bad World Tour from 1987-1988. Later, she sang as backup to Rod Stewart, Don Henley and Sting.
