Yvonne De Carlo

 Yvonne De Carlo was a Canadian born American actress, singer, and dancer whose career spanned more than seven decades. She was a brunette, with blue-grey eyes and a voluptuous figure. She began dancing when she was three , and performed in her teens in night clubs as well as on the stage. Her screen debut came in 1941 with an uncredited role in the comedy film 'Harvard Here I Come'. She also appeared in numerous other films in the same character, and she eventually played the title character in the western drama "Salome, Where She Danced" in the year 1945. Her next important role was in the film 'Song of Scheherazade' in 1947 which though gave traction to her career, ended up being stereotyped as an Arabian Nights type of temptress dressed in harem attire. Although she was stereotypical she was a notable performer in the western and comedy genres, and was part of the main cast of the sitcom from the 1960s"The Munsters. In 1957 she released her debut and only album , 'Yvonne De Carlo Sings'. She developed into a strong and captivating persona actor as she got older. De Carlo received two separate stars in the year 1960 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to films and television.
