Devin Booker is a professional American basketball player, who plays for the 'National Basketball Association' (NBA) team the Phoenix Suns.' He is the son of Melvin Booker, a famous basketball player. He was born in Grand Rapids, where he lived with his Mexican-American half Puerto Rican mother while his father played professionally in basketball. His parents never married and Devin visited his father only during his summer vacations. The father and son duo would play basketball together whenever they could. This made young Devin to develop an intense interest in the game. After doing well for his high-school team and then joining the University of Kentucky and played with them for a full year. He was the 13th overall draft choice of the Phoenix Suns in the year 2015 and was able to make his debut during the 2015-2016 campaign. He finished fourth for the highly sought-after 'Rookie Of The Year' prize following his first season with the 'Phoenix Suns'. He was included in the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In March 2017, Devin became the youngest player to ever score 70 points in one 'NBA' game. Devin was able to continue to perform excellently for his team and he was a key player for the team.
