Lily Collins

 Lily Jane Collins was born at Guildford, Surrey in England. Her father, Phil Collins, is a famous English musician. Her mother Jill Tavelman is from Los Angeles and served as president of the Beverly Hills Women's Club, for three terms, Lily Jane Collins was born in Guildford in Surrey, England. Lily relocated with her mother to LA at the age of five following the separation of her parents. She is of Russian Jewish (from her maternal grandfather), English, and German descent.Her first screen role was when she was just two years old in the BBC series Growing Pains, in 1992. Collins was a Youth Academy for Dramatic Arts student when she was a kid. However, her primary focus was on journalism. She graduated from the Harvard-Westlake School, and attended the USC where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism. She began writing columns ("NY Confidential") for the British magazine Elle Girl in her teens and also contributed to Seventeen, Teen Vogue, as well as the Los Angeles Times magazines.After some first appearances on television as a presenter/reporter (for instance, she covered the 2008 US Presidential campaign as host of the Nickelodeon show, Nick News with Linda Ellerbee: Kids Pick the President (2000)) Additionally, she also made a few appearances on 90210 (2008) in 2009. In the box office-friendly hit The Blind Side, she played alongside Sandra Bullock as the daughter of Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw's characters. Then, she was given further dramatic parts. Mirror Mirror (2012) made her famous worldwide. Then, she was the star in the film Love, Rosie (2013).
