American sportscaster Nicole Briscoe, born July 2 1980, is now employed by ESPN. Originally focused on covering auto racing for the network, which included times as anchor of NASCAR Countdown and NASCAR Now, Briscoe became a SportsCenter anchor in 2015. Briscoe is married to IndyCar Series driver Ryan Briscoe, whom she wed in an outdoor ceremony in Hawaii in 2009.A native of Roscoe, Illinois, she graduated from Hononegah High School in 1998. Danica Patrick, the upcoming auto racer was a cheerleader at the school in 1996. Nicole won Miss Illinois Teen USA 1998. She also competed in Miss Teen USA in Shreveport in the month of August 1998. Nicole was a semi-finalist in the pageant. She placed third (of 10) in the evening gown competition. She also came in seventh in her swimsuit, tenth in interview and seventh in swimsuit. The average was eighth overall. Nicole was a contestant in Miss Illinois USA 2001, two years after having been unable to claim the title. She was first second to Rebecca Ambrosi.
