Rebbie Jackson

Rebbie Jackson is an American artist and singer, as well as the oldest member of the famed Jackson family of musicians that Michael Jackson was a member of. Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, she followed the path of religion early in her life, following in the footsteps of her mother. Rebbie began her music career in Las Vegas in 70s, when she began performing with her siblings on stage for the first time. The Jacksons quickly made a name for themselves and signed a contract to record with CBS Records. The Jacksons also appeared in the TV series, 'The Jacksons. She hoped to become an independent musician once she achieved fame and released her first album "Centipede" in 1984. It was an averagely popular album and so were her two following albums, namely 'Reaction' (R U Tuff Enuff). Then, she took a 10-year-long break and then released another album, 'Yours Faithfully, in 1998. Michael Jackson's brother's record company, MJJ Music, distributed the album. The siblings paid tribute to Michael Jackson's death in June 2009 by performing his hits 'Heal the world'" and 'We Are the World' during the memorial ceremony.
