Adley Stump

 Sometimes, you can hear the voice in your head telling you what to do. Sometimes, the voice is so clear and loud that you can't deny it.For Adley Stump, that voice was heard--to her surprise, right from her mouth. Her talents in singing have already brought her from Oklahoma to national exposure as a contestant on The Voice's top talent contest. Now, her voice can be heard in full bloom on her debut EP called, Like an Lady.For the young lady who was at the heart of all the fuss all of this wasn't part of the plan. Stump was working on her degree in public relations at Oklahoma State University. When friends suggested she take part in the sorority's show she was able to agree. Though she was dancing and cheerleader since childhood, she hadn't thought about becoming a singer. She chuckles and recalls "We all laughed when they were daring." "But I'll take a dare from anyone. I started singing, and people were astonished by the results. It was amazing to me. It was as real and as rich as it could possibly be. The solo was done, but more importantly, she discovered a direction. "To feel the vulnerability and the spark for the first time ... " she says, "I thought, 'I am a fan of this.'"
