Aidan Mackenzy Bryant (born May 7 1987) is an American comedian, actor as well as a writer, producer, and singer. Bryant is best known for her work as an Saturday Night Live cast member for the last ten seasons. She joined the show during its 38th season (2012) and left at the 47th season (2022). Bryant was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards for her performance on the show, which included two nominations in Outstanding Supporting Actress for Comedy Series. She was the main character on the sitcom Shrill (1999-2021). In the latter show, she also wrote as well as executive producer. She was the daughter of Georganne Vinall and Tom Bryant. Her mother owns a boutique named Shop Frances in Phoenix.Bryant is of English, Irish, and German descent. She has one brother.She graduated from Xavier College Preparatory in 2005.Her parents brought her to improv training at the now defunct Arizona Jewish Theatre Company.She graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a BA in 2009.At Columbia College, she took part in the comedy studies program at Columbia College, developed by the Theatre Department and The Second City
