Alison Pill

 Alison Pill (born November 27, 1985)is a Canadian actress. An actress who was a child, Pill began her career when she was 12 years old, appearing in numerous films and television series. Pill began to play roles for adults and had her first breakthrough in The Book of Daniel (2006). She was also nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured actress in a Play the following year for her role in The Lieutenant of Inishmore (2006). Pill played prominent roles in the films Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), Plain Truth (2004), Milk (2008) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011), Hail, Caesar! (2016), Vice (2018) and the TV series In Treatment (2009), The Pillars of the Earth (2010), The Newsroom (2012-2014), American Horror Story: Cult (2017), Star Trek: Picard (2020-2022), Devs (2020), and Them (2021)Alison Pill (born November 27, 1985) is a Canadian actress. Pill, a former child actress, started her career in the television industry at 12 years old where she appeared in a variety of series and films. Pill began to play roles for adults, and her breakthrough was with The Book of Daniel (2006). That same year, she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in the same Play for her role in The Lieutenant of Inishmore (2006). Pill was a prominent character in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) and Plain Truth (2004). Pill was a prominent actor on the TV series In Treatment (2008), The Pillars of the Earth (2010) and The Newsroom (2012-2014). Pill started acting at the age of 10. When she was a part of the Toronto Children's Chorus, she was selected to be the narrator for one of their performances. Pill's mother tried to dissuade her by offering her a job as a background singer on Kung Fu: The Legend continues. Pill was already in a guest role in an episode of the children's TV series The New Ghostwriter Mysteries at the age of 11. When she was 12, she had a role in the show.
