Jessie J

 popularly referred to as Jessie J, is an English singer from England. Her birthplace was in London and started her stage career at 11 when she appeared in the West End musical Whistle Down the Wind. She studied at the BRIT School before signing with Gut Records and striking a songwriting deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.After signing with Republic Records, Jessie J gained notoriety after the release of her first single "Do it Like A Dude". Her next single, "Price Tag", was a top-charting hit in 19 countries, including the UK and was immediately followed by the release her debut album called Who You Are (2011), which peaked at number two in the UK. The album also included singles "Nobody's Perfect" and "Who You Are”, "Domino and "Laserlight" and all made it to the top ten on the UK Singles Chart. This made Jessie J the first British female artist with six top-ten singles that came from one studio album. "Domino" also attained further international success, peaking at sixth place on the US Billboard Hot 100 and making her the second top-ranked single in the UK. In 2012, Jessie J performed at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert outside Buckingham Palace in June, and also at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London on August 12, 2012.
