Amber Valletta

 Amber Evangeline Valletta, born February 9, 1974, is an American model and actress. Her career began as a fashion model receiving her first of sixteen American Vogue covers at the age of eighteen. In the 1990s, Valletta reached the status of supermodel. She was the model for Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Escada, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Valentino, Gucci and Versace, and signing multimillion-dollar contract with cosmetics brands such as Calvin Klein and Elizabeth Arden. From 1995 until 1996, Valletta and her friend and model Shalom Harlow hosted the MTV show House of Style.In the early 2000s, Valletta began to focus on her career as an actress. Her first film appearance was as a poltergeist in Robert Zemeckis's supernatural thriller What Lies Beneath (2000). Since then, she has appeared in films like Hitch (2005) as well as Transporter 2 (2006), Man About Town (2006) as well as Dead Silence (2007), Gamer (2008), and The Spy Next Door (2010). In 2011, she made the move to the screen, playing a regular role as former socialite Lydia Davis on ABC's drama television show Revenge. In 2015, Valletta starred as the manipulative Carla Briggs in another ABC soap opera called Blood and Oil.Amber Evangeline Valletta was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Theresa Malaby was her mother. Her father is Portuguese and of Italian origin. Her mother is part Cherokee as well as English.
