 Elizabeth Olsen is an American actress most well-known for her performance in the critically acclaimed film 'Martha Marley May Marlene' for which she earned much appreciation. Her roles in films such as "Silent House," and 'Godzilla' also are well-known. She is the sister to actresses Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and was introduced to the show business at an early age. She started acting when she was very young, appearing in the films of her sisters. Recognizing her talent, her parents also required her to attend dancing and singing classes. As a child there was no doubt that she would become a professional. She attended the New York University Tisch School of the Arts to continue her education after having completed high school. She also completed a semester at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia. She was an ambitious young woman and appeared in a variety of films before she graduated from 'Tisch. Beautiful confident, confident, and skilled, Olsen successfully made the transition from a child actor to an adult. Her career got a huge boost when she was in the film 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' in which she was nominated for Critics' Choice Movie Award' for 'Best Actress as well as the 'Independent Spirit Award for the 'Best Female Lead'
