Ami Dolenz

 Ami Bluebell Dolenz (born on January 8, 1969) is an American former actress.Dolenz was born in Burbank, California, into an aristocratic family of show business. Dolenz is daughter of Micky Dolenz, a 1960s rock group, and Samantha Juste, a British television host. The paternal grandparents of her are George Dolenz (film actor) and Janelle Johnson (film actress). Dolenz was only 15 when she won a junior talent competition and made the decision to become an actress. Dolenz quit high school and began to perform in various roles on television shows. She then appeared in The Children of Times Square and also had the two-part series Growing Pains. She was a tiny part in the show Can't Buy Me Love in 1987. She was cast as Melissa McKee in General Hospital's long-running soap opera. Dolenz received critical praise for her performance and was nominated for two Young Artist Awards (in 1989 and 1988, respectively). After having left General Hospital in 1989, Dolenz got a role as a co-star alongside Tony Danza in She's Out of Control. The following year, she played Sloane Peterson in Ferris Bueller, a sitcom on television inspired by Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which lasted just thirteen episodes before being removed in 1991. Dolenz was the main character in Children of the Night, and then later, she played the role of the lead in Miracle Beach in 1992.
