Brianna Keilar

 Brianna Marie Keilar, born September 21, 1980 in Australia is an American journalist. She was anchor for New Day on CNN with John Berman. She previously worked as a White House correspondent, senior political correspondent, Congressional correspondent and general assignment reporter for CNN in Washington. Keilar was previously a CNN Newsource national correspondent. Before joining New Day, she was the host of CNN Right Now with Brianna KeilarKeilar was born in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Her father Glenn is Australian, and her mother Miriam was American. The Keilars were stationed in Australia during the time of Brianna's birth.In 1982, Keilar and her family relocated to the United States and settled in Orange County, California. Keilar graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 1998, and was voted homecoming queen in her senior year. Keilar then attended the University of California, Berkeley, from which she graduated in 2001 with dual bachelor's degrees in mass communications and psychologyKeilar began her broadcasting career in Yakima, Washington, at the CBS affiliate KIMA. She was also co-host of Billy, Blue, and Brianna's morning drivetime show The Morning Zoo, on KFFM, a contemporary hits station. [4] After moving to CBS News, she was an anchor, reporter and producer for the CBS News newscast that aired live on MTVU. She also worked as anchor in the CBS News night newscast, Up to the Minute.
