Pamela Jo Bondi, born 17th November 1965, is a well-known American politician as well as lawyer and lobbyist. She is a Republican and was elected as the 37th Florida Attorney General in 2011. Her father, Joseph Bondi, was the city council's member, and later Mayor of Temple Terrace. Bondi graduated from C. Leon King High school in Tampa. Bondi graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 with an undergraduate diploma in Criminal Justice and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She received an JD from Stetson Law School in 1990 and was admitted to the Florida Bar on June 24, 1991Bondi acted as a prosecutor and spokeswoman in Hillsborough County, Florida, where she was an Assistant State Attorney. Bondi left her post to pursue the position of Attorney General for Florida. She has made guest appearances on Scarborough Country with Joe Scarborough and other news cable programming on MSNBC and worked for Fox News as a guest host.Bondi prosecuted former Major League Baseball player Dwight Gooden in 2006 for violating the conditions of his probation as well as for substance abuse. Bondi also prosecuted Martin Anderson's murder victims in 2007.
