Rachelle Marie Lefevre (/l@'fev/, French: [RaSel maRi l@fevRBorn January 1st, 1979) is a Canadian actress. She was a part of the television show Big Wolf on Campus and had recurring roles in What About Brian, Boston Legal and Swingtown. She was the vampire Victoria in the initial two films in the Twilight series. She played the role of the vampire Victoria in the first two films in the Twilight saga. Her maternal grandparents come from Northern Ireland and France, and her father is French. She was raised by a psychologist mother as well as an English teacher father. Lefevre went to Centennial Academy, a private high school, and later studied creative arts at Dawson College.She was a theater student for two summers at the Walnut Hill School in Natick, Massachusetts, and pursued a degree in teaching as well as literature at McGill University
