Lauren Christine German is an American actress from America. Her first major role in the 2002 teen romantic drama A Walk to Remember, then roles in film horror The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and Hostel: Part II (2007). German played two key roles on CBS's second season of Hawaii Five-0. From 2011 to 2012, she played the DHS agent Lori Weston. In the second season, she also was a part of Hostel: Part II (2007). She also played a role in the NBC drama Chicago Fire from 2012 to the year 2015. From 2016-2021, she appeared as detective Chloe Decker in the American romantic comedy Lucifer. German was born in Huntington Beach, California. Her father Richard German works as a vascular surgeon. Her paternal grandfather was Dutch. He was born in Amsterdam in 1909, and immigrated to America along with his family when he was an infant. The rest of Lauren's ancestry is English. She was a student at Los Alamitos High School, Orange County High School of the Arts after which she attended the University of Southern California where she took classes in Anthropology. [4]
