Lauren Christine German is an American actress from America. She made her debut in a major part in 2002's romantic teen drama A Walk to Remember, followed by roles in the film horror The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and Hostel: Part II (2007). From 2011 to 2012, German was in the lead role in the role of DHS agent Lori Weston in the second season of the CBS police drama Hawaii Five-0, and from 2012 to 2015, she played Leslie Shay in the NBC drama Chicago Fire. German starred as Chloe Decker, a detective in the American fantasy comedy-drama Lucifer between 2016 and 2021. German was born in the Orange County suburb of Huntington Beach in California. Her father Richard German is a vascular surgeon. Her paternal grandfather was Dutch. He was born in Amsterdam in 1909 and moved to America along with his family when he was young children. 3 The rest of Lauren's ancestral lineage is English. She was a student at Los Alamitos High School and Orange County High School of the Arts and then enrolled at the University of Southern California, where she was a student of Anthropology. [4]
