Nik Dodani, an Indian-American comedian and actor is based in Los Angeles. He will soon be a part of Atypical which is a Netflix original comedy series that Robia Rashid created. His performances on the Freeform show Kevin from Work and NBC's The Player are well-known. He is also a part of Joshua Leonard's forthcoming independent film, Behold My Heart. This film features Marisa Tomei as well as Charlie Plummer. Dodani performs stand-up comedy across the United States. His sets have been featured in a variety of media outlets such as BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post and Colorlines. He is also well-known for his role in Joshua Leonard's forthcoming independent film Behold My Heart which stars Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant, Charlie Plummer and Sakina Jaffrey. Dodani previously worked as consultant to RALLY the issue advocacy organization based out of Hollywood. He also worked as a graphic designer, student organizer and graphic designer on Elizabeth Warren's 2012 Senate campaign. BuzzFeed listed Dodani as among the "14 people who are redefining India's fight for the Rights of LGBT People". The Advocate Magazine named Dodani one of the "21 LGBT actors Of Color Hollywood Should Cast As Leading Men" in the year 2016.
