Nik Dodani is an Indian-American actor, comedian, and activist based in Los Angeles.Dodani will soon appear on Atypical which is a brand new Netflix original comedy series developed by Robia Rashid. His appearances on the Freeform show Kevin from Work and NBC’s The Player are well-known. He also stars in Joshua Leonard's upcoming independent movie, Behold My Heart. This film features Marisa Tomei as well as Charlie Plummer. He has performed stand-up comedy throughout the United States and has had his sets featured in media outlets such as BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post and Colorlines as well as others.During the 2016 presidential election, Dodani was a producer for MoveOn.org and was the organizer of the political comedy project Laughter Trumps Hate. Dodani has previously been consultant to RALLY, an issue advocacy organization based out of Hollywood. He also served as a graphic designer, student organizer and graphic designer for Elizabeth Warren's 2012 Senate campaign. BuzzFeed identified Dodani as one of the "14 people who are redefining India's fight for LGBT Rights". In 2016 The Advocate Magazine listed Dodani as one of "21 Out Actors of Color Hollywood Should Cast as Lead Men"
