Sarah Shahi

 Sarah Shahi was born Aahoo jahansouzshahi. She was the daughter of an Iranian father, and a Spanish-Iranian-born mother. She is an ex- NFL cheerleader and a descendant of a 19th-century Persian Shah. She was a graduate of Trinity High School, Southern Methodist University and was a student of opera. English was her major. In her teen years she was a winner of numerous beauty contests and won first place in the Miss Fort Worth USA pageant in 1997. She was an official cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys from 1999 to 2000. She also appeared on the front cover of the 2000 Dallas Cowboys calendar. Shahi was the very first character to appear in Supernatural (2005), the CW supernatural drama. She appeared in recurring roles on numerous TV shows, including Alias (2001) which was a series in which she played "Jenny" as well as Dawson's Creek (1998), where she was "Sadia Shaw". She became a fan favorite when she played the Mexican-American DJ "Carmen de la Pica Morales" in the Showtime series, The L Word (2004) that she joined during its second season. Sarah didn't renew her contract on the show for the fourth season, and as a result, her character was written off.
