Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy, a comedian and actor well-known for his 'You might not be an redneck’ jokes. Foxworthy is not just a comedian or television personality. He's also the top-selling author of over 26 books. In a career spanning over one quarter of 100 years, Foxworthy has released six comedy albums, two of which were certified multi-platinum in U.S. The son of an IBM executive and a former IBM executive, he was inspired to follow in his father's footsteps and pursue an executive job, but as fate would have it, he happened to participate in the Great Southeastern Laugh-off' at Atlanta's 'Punchline' comedy club. The success prompted him to ditch his corporate job to try his hand at comedy. He is now regarded as the most successful comedian-recording artist in the world and was nominated to the Grammy Award. He also made a move into television and created his own sitcom The Jeff Foxworthy Show. He also hosted'Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?' and a variety of other TV shows which increased his popularity dramatically. He's part of one of the most popular comedy tours ever 'The Blue Collar Comedy Tour,' which also has Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White as its members.
