American rapper and performer Nelly has released eight studio albums including two compilation albums, one remix album, three extended performances two mixtapes and 49 singles (including 14 as a performed by a featured artist) as well as three promotional singles , and 48 music videos. He was also part of the hip hop group St. Lunatics, which included fellow rappers Ali, City Spud, Murphy Lee, and Kyjuan. Following the St. Lunatics failed to achieve commercial success, Nelly decided to pursue a solo career. He has sold 21.815,000 albums across the US. Universal Records signed Nelly to the terms of a recording contract. [2][3] Nelly released his first solo album, Country Grammar, in 2000, with the bulk of the album's production being handled by Jason Epperson
