Giada Pamela de Laurentiis, born in America, is an Italian chef, TV personality writer, and chef is a TV personality. Her show on TV, "Giada At Home", airs on Food Network. She's been nominated for two Emmy Awards. She also received an Gracie Award. Laurentiis was born in Rome. She emigrated to the USA as a young girl. When she arrived in Los Angeles, she started in the kitchen as chef. Later, when she was employed as a food stylist she was contacted by the Food Network after she styled an article for 'Food & Wine magazine. The show was eventually renamed a daily cooking show 'Everything Italy that earned her an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lifestyle Host'. She currently hosts the TV show'Giada at Home'. Laurentiis has written several books too. Laurentiis' novels 'Giada At Home' and "Weeknights" were on the top of the New York Times Best Seller List. In 2012 she was inducted into Culinary Hall of Fame.
