Cheryl Ladd

 Cheryl Ladd (nee Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor 12 July 1951) is an American performer, actress, and author. Ladd is best known for her role as Kris Munroe in the ABC television show Charlie's Angels, hired amid a swirl of publicity prior to the second season's premiere in 1977. She was hired to replace the ex-character Farrah Fawcett-Majors who was Jill Munroe, the sister of the character played by Ladd. Ladd remained with the show until it ended in 1981.Ladd was born Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor in Huron, South Dakota, the second child of Dolores (nee Katz), an waitress, and Marion Stoppelmoor (1929-2001), railway engineer. Jordan was her daughter. was born to David Ladd, a fellow actor. She adopted his name as her own which she kept following their divorce.She has been married to producer Brian Russell since 1981, and has a stepdaughternamed Lindsay Russell. Ladd is a famous advocate for the prevention of child abuse and treatment non-profit organization Childhelp.
