Emily Mallory Procter (born October 8th 1988, in the year 1968) is an American actress. From 2000 to 2002 , and in 2006, she portrayed Ainsley Hayes on the NBC political drama The West Wing and from 2002 until 2012, she was playing Det. Calleigh Duquesne on a CBS police drama called CSI: Miami. In 2013, she had a recurring role as FBI agent Amanda Callaway in the fourth season of the USA Network crime drama White Collar.Emily Procter was born October 8th, 1968. Procter was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. After her parents divorced, she was only three years older. Whit is her elder brother. She is also an adopted child. Procter is a Ravenscroft School graduate. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority while at East Carolina University. After receiving her degrees in journalism and dance at East Carolina, she was employed as a weather anchor for WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina.
