Gina Bellman (born 10 July 1966) is born in New Zealand. She is a British actress, best known for her performances as Jane Christie on the BBC's famous comedy show Coupling and as a grifter Sophie Devereaux on the 2008 TNT TV series Leverage.Bellman was born in Auckland, New Zealand to Jewish parents of Russian as well as Polish origin. They emigrated to New Zealand from England in the 1950s. Her family moved back to the United Kingdom when she was 11 years old. Rosh Pinah Primary School in London and JFS in London were her schools. Her television debut in 1982 with an episode in Into the Labyrinth. In 1984, she appeared as an actor in Dennis Potter's drama Blackeyes. Jane, her role on the sitcom Coupling is another one that has gained a lot of attention. Other TV characters she has played include Waking the Dead and Jonathan Creek. She also appeared in one-off episodes of Only Fools and Horses and Hotel Babylon.
