Jennifer Tilly (born Jennifer Ellen Chan on 16th September 1958) is an American-Canadian actor and poker player. She has been awarded the World Series of Poker Ladies’ Event bracelet. For her performance in Bullets over Broadway (1994), Olive Neal, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her other film roles include Let It Ride (1989), Made in America (1993), Bound (1996), Liar Liar (1997) and Bride of Chucky (1998). Her voice-over credits include Celia on Monsters, Inc. (2001), Bonnie Swanson on Family Guy (1999-1999), and Bride of Chucky (1998). She is the older sister of actress Meg Tilly.Tilly was born Jennifer Ellen Chan in Harbor City, Los Angeles. She is the first child of Harry Chan, a used-car salesman as well as Patricia (nee Tilly), who was a former stage actress and schoolteacher from Canada. Her father was Chinese and her mother is of Irish, First Nations, and Finnish descent. She is the younger sister of Steve who is an older brother and Meg and Rebecca two younger sisters.
