Malin Akerman

 Malin Maria was born on 12 May 1978 in Sweden. She played small roles on film and television in British and Swedish productions. They include Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (2004) and The Utopian Society (2003). After being an assistant in The Comeback, an HBO mockumentary show (2005) and she was offered her first lead part in the romantic comedy films 27 Dresses (2008) and The Heartbreak Kid (2007). She was not credited for her part of Silk Spectre II on The Invasion (2007). Akerman played the female leading lady in Watchmen (2009) in the role of Silk Spectre II. She was nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Supporting Actress. In 2009, Akerman also had supporting and lead roles in the romantic comedy The Proposal, and Couples Retreat. She was a part of the Adult Swim comedy series Childrens hospital from 2010 until the year 2016. She was a part of the show's comedy Wanderlust as well as the musical Rock of Ages in 2012. Her first lead role on television was on the ABC comedy series Trophy Wife (2013)-2014. Then, she appeared in I'll See You In My Dreams (2015) and Rampage (2018). Akerman is an integral part of the Showtime drama Billions since 2016, played Lara Axelrod. Akerman also was an alternative rock singer with the group The Petalstones during the 2000s. But, she chose to focus on her acting career. Akerman was twice married firstly to Roberto Zincone (Petalstones drummer) between 2007 and the year 2014. She was blessed with a son as well as a daughter with Jack Donnelly (English actor).
