Melanie Lynskey, born 16 May 1977 was a New Zealand actress. She was best known for her role in Heavenly Creatures' Pauline Parker. This was a huge success and earned her critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination. She was also a part of television series such as Two and a Half Men, Lost, Togetherness, and Ray Donovan.The beautiful lady was born in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Kay Lynskey is her father. Her father worked as an accountant, and her mother was a secretary. She is the sibling of Sarah and Dan the brothers of her. She attended New Plymouth Girls' High School, where she scored a perfect score. She continued to study psychology and philosophy at the University of Auckland.
