AnnaSophia Robb

 AnnaSophia Robb (born December 8 in 1993) is an American actress, model and performer. She started as an infant actress on television. She made her debut in the lead role in the title role of Samantha: An American Girl Holiday (2004). She made her feature film debut in Because of Winn-Dixie (2005), followed by the part of a supporting character in Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005). Her performance was highly praised for her performance as Leslie Burke, Bridge to Terabithia (2007) and received two Young Artist Awards. Her films following roles include Race to Witch Mountain (2009), Soul Surfer (2011), and The Way Way Back (2013). Her role as Carrie Bradshaw, the main character in The CW's show The Carrie Diaries (2013-14) brought her much attention and praise. In 2019, she played the role of Gypsy Blanchard's neighbour Lacey in the Hulu miniseries , The Act.Robb was born in Denver, Colorado, the sole child of Janet the interior designer and David Robb, an architect. Named after Anna Sophie, her maternal great-grandmother, and Anna Marie, her paternal grandmother. Robb is of Danish and Swedish, English, Irish, Scottish and Scottish descent. She was raised in a strict Christian family and was educated at home. She began acting at age eight, and was a performer on the church stage in front of fellow Christians. She competed in gymnastics and dance for nearly four years, but decided to focus on acting.She attended Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado and graduated in 2012
