Elena Satine

 Elena Satine, a Georgian-American singer and actress was born on the 24th of November, 1987. On television she was featured as a regular on the Starz period drama Magic City (2012-2013), the ABC drama Revenge (2014-2015) and the Netflix space Western Cowboy Bebop (2021). Her appearances include Mera on Smallville (2010) and Lorelei on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2014), and Sonya Simonson/ Dreamer on The Gifted (2017).Satine was born in Tbilisi which was the capital of what was then called the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic (current Georgia). Her mother was an opera singer, and her father was employed in the field of textiles. At the age of five, Satine and her family moved to Sochi, and she became member of the Georgian pop group Nergebi which was a Mickey Mouse like group of performers for children. Satine toured with Nergebi throughout Eastern Europe, including an appearance on the children's show, Utrennaya Zvezda (Morning Star) and later branched off into an independent career.At age 9, Satine became the youngest performer to headline at the Kinotavr Festival.In 1998, while accompanying her mother on a business trip Satine was able to sneak away to take an audition for Professional Performing Arts School, and was admitted immediately. Satine, who was sixteen years old, persuaded her parents to allow her to attend American universities. Afterwards she continued her Dramatic studies at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia
