Elena Satine

 Elena Satine, a Georgian-American actress and singer was born on the 24th of November in 1987. She has appeared on TV as a regular series character on the period drama Starz's Magic City (2012-2013), ABC's drama Revenge (2014), and Netflix's Western Cowboy Bebop (211). She also has appeared on superhero-themed series, portraying Mera on Smallville (2010), Lorelei on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2014) as well as Sonya Simonson/Dreamer on The Gifted (2018). She was born in Tbilisi (capital of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic, currently Georgia). Her mother sang opera, and her father worked in textiles. At the age of five, Satine and her family moved to Sochi, and she became an integral member of the Georgian pop group Nergebi, a Mickey Mouse group of children's performers. She performed with Nergebi throughout Eastern Europe, including an appearance on the children's show Utrennaya Zvezda (Morning Star) and then branched out into her own career.At age 9, Satine became the youngest performer to headline the Kinotavr Festival.In 1998 as she was traveling with her mother on a business trip Satine was able to sneak away to take an audition for Professional Performing Arts School, and earned her admission right away. Satine aged 16 years old, convinced her parents to let her to go to America for studies. After graduating from PPAS Satine pursued her Dramatic Studies at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
