Sharon Stone

 Sharon Vonne Stone, born March 10 1958 is an American actress. She is most well-known for her roles as femme fatales and women with mystery in both film and television. She was one of the most well-known female sex icons in the 1990s. Stone has won numerous awards like an Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995, and was made an officer of the Order of Arts and Letters in France in 2005 (Commander in 2021).After modeling in television commercials and print advertisements, Stone made her film debut as an actor in Woody Allen's dramatic dramedy Stardust Memories (1980) and she played her first part as a speaker in Wes Craven's film about horror Deadly Blessing (1981). The 1980s saw she appeared in films such as Irreconcilable differences (1984), King Solomon's Mines (1985), Cold Steel (1987) as well as Above the Law (1988). Her breakthrough role in Paul Verhoeven's science-fiction action film Total Recall (1990) was her most notable. She then rose to the heights of fame when she was Catherine Tramell, a trophy woman, in the Verhoeven drama Basic Instinct (1992). This film earned her both the Golden Globe Award nomination and an Academy Award nomination as Best Actress. Sliver (1993), The Specialist (94), The Quick and the Dead (1998) and The Muse (99), Catwoman (2006), Bobby (2006) and Lovelace (2013). She also starred in The Disaster Artist (2017), Rolling Thunder Revue (A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese (2018) as well as The Laundromat (2019).
