Gail Ann O'Grady, an American producer and actress, was born on the 23rd of January 1963. She is most famous for her role as Donna Abandando, a police drama that airs on ABC, NYPD Blue, or Helen Pryor on NBC's drama series American Dreams. O'Grady is also well-known for her lead roles in a variety of television films. She's been nominated to a Primetime Emmy Awards three times.O'Grady was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Jim and Jan O'Grady. Her father worked as a financial adviser. [citation needed] She was raised in Wheaton, Illinois, and graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1981. Before making the move to Los Angeles, she appeared in a couple of commercials.
